The volume contains 45 pasted-in albumen prints [by Robert Newell, photographer in Philadelphia, Pa.] of exhibition areas of the Sanitary Commission fair, one newspaper clipping about the fair, a four-page handwritten description of the model house, the fourteen-page list of signatures of subscribers (including Abraham Lincoln and Edward Everett), a printed copy of the Catalogue of the Grildrig collection of pictures (exhibited in the model house), and a three-page manuscript list of illustrations in the book.
